Drouner K&L Augustus P-Red takes pride of place as highest ranked polled breeding bull in the Netherlands!

Drouner K&L Augustus P-Red is one of the most notable high flyers in the red-and-white segment. He has been awarded a breeding value based on Dutch daughters for the first time and his INET has risen by no fewer than 240 points. His new breeding values show an increase of more than 1100 litres of milk, 34 kilos of fat, and 32 kilos of protein. These figures mean that Augustus P-Red is justifiably the highest ranked polled breeding bull and the best Solitaire son in the Netherlands.

  Both conventional and sexed semen is widely available from Cogent bull Augustus P-Red. Other top performers such as Poppe Kayne are also continuing to prove their qualities. Kayne’s daughters really come into their own as they mature. Newcomer Wr Centrum has also made an impressive debut in the index. This bull with outstanding conformation scores a plus for milk, fat and protein.

Successful results in black-and-white

There are also notable climbers in the black-and-white segment. Cogent bull Gen Pikachu continues to impress with abundant milk production and great scores for fat percentage. And Valor Tobor with more than 250 daughters, has gained another 51 points to claim a stable position among the top 10 climbers. With his third calf daughters currently lactating, Tobor’s strength, width and excellent legs are showing their true promise. Another stand-out bull is Dv Magician rf, who also received his first scores. His daughters are acclaimed for their striking appearance and high milk production. His unique AA code 516 and a lineage free of Maik blood, make Magician rf a valuable addition for many Triple A enthusiasts.

Another strong performance by BB bulls

Henny van de Blomsteeg has made a strong debut in the Belgian Blue segment with a maternal calving ease score of 124 and a gestation length of 98. In addition, Beer van de Graashook has maintained his position as the undisputed number one with a score of 139 for maternal calving ease.  Numbering no fewer than five BB bulls among the top 10 in the Netherlands for calving ease, the power of the K.I. Samen breeding programme is clear!
